Description
What you'll learn in this stand up comedy class:
With a workshop environment similar to Level 1, this next course is geared toward students with past stand-up comedy experience who are looking to build a new 8-10 minute set. This class will focus on story building, developing your individual voice and most important of all: the art of editing.
Students in this course will also benefit from Sam’s experience as a show runner, as they will learn some of what is involved in producing their own show. Students will assist in producing their own student showcase at Pinch n Ouch Theater.
Prerequisite:
- Completion of course & grad show performance for Level 1 OR submission of 5-7 minute performance subject to instructor’s approval.
Refund Policy
- In order to receive a refund, notice of cancellation of registration must be received no later than 15 business days prior to the first class meeting.
- Cancellations after this time are non-refundable, but credit is given toward future classes.
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
