Description

In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn the basics of hand sewing leather and create your own leather card holder, or a pouch.

All materials are provided, including leather, tools, waxed threads and option of embossing words.

If you’ve never worked with leather before, this is a perfect introduction! Techniques include studding or hand sewing the wallet together, foil stamping to create your own personalized wallet.

Refund Policy

All classes and workshops are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Class Make-up Policy

For multiple-day classes, if you have to miss a day, you are responsible for getting the information that will catch you up on missed information during the class hours. Any additional time you will need to finish the project due to your absence shall be signed-up as a studio-hour session at a $150/day rate.

We take your safety seriously. With COVID-19, circumstances may change quickly, at the last minute. Please communicate with us, if you are traveling from afar. We expect that you will be healthy, and that if you feel sick slightly, you will let us know and we will postpone the course. We will have hand sanitizers, surface wipes, we will wash hands frequently, and each student will have their own tool box to use during the course. Any shared equipment will be cleaned in between use.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

    The instructor allowed each of us to create our own small leather project. I ended up making a subclass case. She taught me enough basic skills to feel comfortable investing in leather working as a hobby. I still make small leather goods today!

    Loved this class! Be prepared for it to go over schedule, working with leather is way more complicated than I thought! Even though it went over I had a BLAST. This is such a fun class in an inviting space :) I will be coming back for more

    Had a blast- The instructor was very nice, informative, patient with our questions and helped me fix the small mistakes I made. The studio was super cool and also welcoming! There were a couple of different patterns to offer options of different wallets. I love how mine came out and can’t wait to give it as a gift and boast about my handiwork!

    Course was described as teaching the "basics of working with leather", but the class really had very little to do with the material of the wallet itself. The class didn't explain anything about the materials, the tools, or general techniques available when making leather wallets or any other leather product. We focused more on sewing than anything else. This wasn't exactly what I was hoping to get out of the class, and I don't feel that this was an introductory leather class as described.
