Description

After completing Level 1, you have mastered the essential tools of musical improvisation. This Level 2 course deepens your technique and refines your artistic abilities through intensive work on scene work, strategic character gifting, complex song structures, confident character embodiment, rapping and rhyming, genre mastery, musicality, and polished choreography. You will strengthen every aspect of your musical improv skills while enjoying the playful, creative energy that makes this art form so rewarding. This course pushes you toward higher-quality performances and professional-level execution.

This class culminates in a public performance.

Prerequisite: Completion of BCC Level 1 Musical Improv is required with no exceptions. Our musical improv program moves at an accelerated pace compared to most other theaters' programs, and Level 1 is considered an advanced foundational course. For this reason, students cannot skip directly to Musical Improv Level 2; Level 1 completion is essential preparation.

Please Note: Classes may end 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled time, depending on the total number of enrollments.

Refund Policy

Class payments are non-refundable.

In the event you have to drop a class before it begins and give us at least 8 business days notice, we can credit your tuition toward a future class.

In the event a class fails to meet a minimum number of sign-ups (6 enrollments), students will be notified by email and given the option to transfer into another class, keep a class credit on the books, or offered a full refund - whichever is preferable to the student.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
