Description
What you'll learn in this kids cooking class:
Have fun in the kitchen over winter break! Young teens ages 12 to 16 will experiment with approachable-yet-sophisticated menus that they'll enjoy re-creating at home for family and friends. Your teen will learn the basics of knife skills, cooking and baking techniques, and organizing prep work.
Menu:
- Chicken Saltimbocca (Sautéed Chicken with Prosciutto, Provolone and Sage) with Lemon-Caper Sauce
- Risotto with Mushrooms and Fresh Herbs
- Zeppole (Italian Fried Fritters) with Cinnamon Sugar
Skills covered in class:
- Getting familiar with Italian ingredients
- Selecting and sautéing chicken
- Determining chicken doneness
- Making pan sauce
- Working with Arborio rice and fresh herbs
- Selecting mushrooms
- Preparing and frying batter

Refund Policy
All classes have a 4 business days cancellation policy, except Culinary Boot Camps which have a 16 business days cancellation policy.
You must email us at [email protected] to cancel an existing reservation, but please note the 15% service fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you cancel within 4 business days, you will not receive a refund or credit for your class, but feel free to send a guest in your place. Our credit card refund policy is 90 days. If your purchase was made prior to that, you will receive an account credit, not a refund to your credit card.
Please note:
- All virtual class sales are final.
- All virtual students will receive a recording of the class within 48 hours of the class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
