Coil Vases & Planters (Ages 14-18)

Using coils, students will learn to construct symmetrical and a-symetrical forms to create vases, planters or sculptural objects. By the end of the course, students will have 2-3 medium to large vessels they can decide to become vases, planters, bowl or sculptural objects. Students are encouraged to apply surface design techniques such as sgraffito, carving or additive objects to expand on the form.
Darkroom to Digital Photography (Ages 9-13)

This has been designed as an introductory photo class for younger kids, 12-14 years. Students who are curious about the world of photography will be introduced to mainly analog, and some digital photographic methods. This includes printing in the darkroom, shooting film, simple digital editing, and much more!
