Class Description

Description

What you'll learn in this horticulture class:

Bioregional Herbalism is a pathway to natural wellness. Discover how to engage with bioregional plants as allies and develop personal intuition and connection. Learn the basics of body systems, herbal terminology, and common herbal preparations with a focus on nourishment, wellness, prevention and support.

During each Sunday class, discover several plants in depth, learn introductory health care topics and body systems, and make 1-2 herbal preparations. The day is divided among lecture and discussion, hands-on practice with harvesting and making remedies, walks to meet plants in their homes, and time to cultivate and reconnect with nature’s wisdom.

Our Bioregional Herbalism Course will empower you with nourishing herbal knowledge, the skills to experience the world in a new way, and the beginning of a personal herbal apothecary!

Receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the series. Only 1 class may be missed to receive a certificate.
