Description

What you'll learn in this ux design class:

In this workshop you will learn to define usability and form an understanding about how human measurement should be used in order to verify that the outcomes of a design process lead to improvements, rather than just changes. We’ll investigate when to use which methods, how to write a test plan, and how to conduct a user testing session.

You will be able to write your own test plan and then will be given guided practice in moderating a user test session with a partner.

Prereqs & Preparation

Define usability and explain how it is different from user experience
Ability to articulate different methods for user testing and know when to use each one
Moderate a user testing session and ask questions without bias while guiding users to perform a task

School Notes:
For students enrolling in 12 week part time and immersive classes, it is not recommended that you book more than one class simultaneously.
