Amir John Sheikh has been teaching latin dance in the Chicagoland area for over 12 years. His passion for the music and dance started at a salsa club in Chicago in 2000. He quickly learned to dance and became a star student which eventually led to teaching in 2001. Amir is sought after for his dance instruction in mambo, salsa, cha, and bachata. Amir's philosohy of teaching is rooted in the belief that anyone can dance if you're truly moved by the music.
