Teaches at Chicago Dance

Miguel is no stranger to dance. This lifelong love affair began early. In a regular childhood environment of music and dancing, Miguel not only witnessed but learned the language of dance. In High School Miguel was often invited by faculty and classmates to choreograph performances and events such as Cotillions & Sweet 16's.

Upon graduation Miguel took his love for dance and combined it with complete event coordinating to begin Primo Productions. Miguel has planned and choreographed over 150 events from Weddings, Political Fundraisers, and Grand Openings. Clients include the late Maggie Daley for Gallery 37 and Lamborghini of Chicago in Westmont.

By 2003 Miguel was approached to instruct with Latin Street Dancing. At L.S.D. he performed Cabaret’s all throughout Chicago land. Miguel is widely recognized for his energetic Nightclub lessons and the sold out lessons he taught at the Humboldt Park Campus. The classes Miguel taught were featured twice on the Chicago Park District news magazine, Chicago at play.

In 2007 Miguel started a scratch agency with American Family Insurance. His career with AmFam has awarded him many career highlights and accolades. His agency has been in the top 20% of the state every year making him a leader in AmFam and in the business community.

Since 2010 Miguel has taught sessions and workshops at The McCormick Tribune YMCA and at The Dance Academy of Salsa on “El Paseo Boricua”. As of June 2013 Miguel will join an acclaimed core of Ballroom instructors at the celebrated studio of Chicago Dance. Miguel is excited to share his perspective and 15 years of dance in a new way.
