Janet B. Milstein

Janet B. Milstein is an actor, acting instructor, private acting coach, writer, director, and indie filmmaker. She has published sixteen books for actors, written screenplays and plays, directed and produced both theater and film, and cast numerous projects. Janet received her MFA in Acting from SUNY Binghamton in New York and her BA in Theatre with Distinction from the University of Delaware.

Janet has been teaching acting privately, at studios and schools, and in workshops around the country for the past 20 years. She has worked with students ages 3 to 75! Most recently Janet wrote and directed the films Tweet Revenge, Fractured, Grading Curves, and The Survivors. She also directed an 8th grade play at St Athanasius Middle School in Evanston. Additionally, Janet has two books which recently came out in stores: Crash Course V.1: Preparing for the Business of Professional Acting and Crash Course V.2: Auditioning for Straight Theater.
