Teaches at Chicago Dance

I started my career at age 8 singing with the Florentine Opera in Milwaukee.
Training in Dance at Milwaukee Ballet School and theater at The Performing Arts School in Milwaukee where I worked on a number theater projects such as performing with First Stage Milwaukee in the Outsiders and The Caucasian
Chalk Circle playing Simon. Later started ballet and was coached and trained
exclusively by Yves de Bouteiller teacher at English National Ballet. Then
continued my training at distinguished schools such as San Francisco Ballet and the Bolshoi Academy in Moscow .

In 1995, I was accepted to the American Ballet Theater. Touring extensively with the company Nationally and Internationally dancing in “Manon”, “Don Quixote”, “La Bayadere” and “Giselle”. later joining the Joffrey Ballet under the direction of Gerald Arpino. There I danced principal roles such as “Lucencio” in John Kranko’s “Taming of the Shrew“, “Romeo” in Kranko’s “Romeo and Juliet“, “Cavalier” in Robert Joffrey’s “Nutcracker“, “Faun” in Nikiski’s “Afternoon Of A Faun“, Aston’s “Monotones II” and “Blue Pas” in Jiri Kalian’s “Return to a Strange Land“. Repertoire also including leading pas de deux’s from Gerald Arpino’s “Light Rain“, “Suite Saint Saens“, “Italian Suite”, “Reflections” and “Round of Angels”. I also took part dancing in International festivals in The Netherlands, United Kingdom and New York.

After dancing in a ballet company I joined the American cast of Dirty Dancing
and later joined the London cast as Robbie. Other show credits include Billy
Elliot directed by Stephen Daldry, US National tour and the Toronto cast playing Older Billy. Also having the pleasure to work with Cirque du Soleil directed by Franco Dragone and Guy Laliberte as one of the leading characters of “La Nouba”. Most recently opened the second US tour of Dirty Dancing playing the lead Johnny Castle directed by Eleanor Bergstein and James Powell. I had a great time as a cast member in the movie “The Company” directed by Robert Altman.

Trained extensively with acting coaches such as Judith Windsor who studied at
Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and trained for the theatre at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. She has worked on a number of films and
theater productions such as Alfie and Spy Games. Michael Barakiva writer and
director working with companies such as MTV, ACT, Lincoln Center and New
York Stage and Film. Markson Dawe who trained with American Conservatory
Theater San Francisco and is a member of IMTA.
