Be transported to the patisseries of Paris with this classic French Macaron class!

Don your chef aprons, grab your whisks and let's get baking! In this fun and interactive class, you will learn the fine art to making these mouthwatering morsels that are easy enough to be done in your own kitchen! Together with our classically trained Pastry Chef Instructor, we will demystify the making of these highly sought-after meringue-based sandwich cookies. 

Our Pastry Chef Instructor will take you through a detailed demonstration, before you will be guided step-by-step in replicating the process of meringue mixing, otherwise known as 'macaronage', piping, baking, assembling and of course, eating! We will also explore a few flavor profiles and filling variations (including raspberry ganache and white chocolate passionfruit buttercream) to make your macarons really stand out from the rest!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the baking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Other Notes:

  • Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed.
  • This event is semi-private. It takes place in a hotel or restaurant, your group is exclusively seated but there may be other patrons around in the venue.

Event Itinerary

  • Guests will arrive and be greeted by the chef/instructor, and may order any drinks they’d like to have during the class (purchased separately).
  • The chef/instructor will introduce themselves and give some background information on what will be cooked or prepared.
  • You’ll then split into groups of 2-4 and each group will be given step by step instructions by the chef/instructor
  • You’ll get to enjoy your creations and are welcome to hang out at the venue and continue to order drinks or food!
