A beginner's guide to the Japanese marbling technique "Suminagashi" and book binding.
This workshop serves as an introduction to both paper marbling and book binding. Students will learn how to create their own set of marbled images, which will later be turned into a book cover. As their designs dry, students will learn a book binding technique perfect for journals, sketchbooks and planners. Each student will create one "book" using their favorite suminagashi print.
No experience necessary. All materials will be included!
