Olufunke Thelma Elerewe

Teaches at Santa Monica College

Thelma Elerewe graduated from the University of Bridgeport CT., with a B.S. in Biology. While she was working in the laboratory, she decided to attend Wilton School of Cake Decorations to study her hobby and passion. Thelma was the Rookie of the Year in 2002 for Wilton School. She was an instructor for El Camino College and the Learning Annex magazine. She also earned a certificate from Epicurean School of Culinary Arts for baking. Thelma has been working for a reputable grocery company in the bakery as the head cake decorator and bakery manager for over 10 years. While working for one of the grocery stores in Hollywood, she made cakes for El Capitan theater (Disney). Several students of hers are now successful business owners in the baking industry. Thelma is also in the Hall of Fame for Wilton school of cake decoration.
