Karen Miranda Rivadeneira is an artist, and educator. She has been invited to participate in many artist residencies as LightWork, Fondazione Ratti, Pour L’Instant and The Wurlitzer foundation. She has exhibited her work in all continents expect Antartica. Her work is part of the permanent collection at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, the LightWork Foundation and private collections. Miranda graduated in 2005 from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. She has taught photography at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, The International Center of Photography in NYC, Centro F64 in Puebla Mexico and LaG Community College in NYC.
