Patrisha Thomson

Teaches at Santa Monica College

Patrisha Thomson’s forty years of professional experience in the arts includes visual art, photography, public art, movement, and singing. She is a Certified Expressive Arts Consultant and a well-known teacher in expressive arts. Her seminars integrate the arts in a body-mind approach. She is presently developing her fine art with projects that combine writing and painting. Patrisha’s studies in Expressive Arts have taken her to the key people in this innovative field, primarily Natalie Rogers and her Person-Centered Expressive Art Therapy Institute’s certificate program. She has taught workshops in personal growth and creative expression in the Los Angeles area for many years and has been teaching for SMC since 1994.
