Kareem Grant, David Whitlatch & Mick Roth

Teaches at General Assembly

Kareem is currently a software engineer at Hireology, a web-based hiring platform. He's a former business guy who used to work for large companies, but through a series of serendipitous events, he rediscovered his passion for building software and decided to leave the corporate world behind and become a developer.

During his free time he serves as lead instructor for CodeNow, a nonprofit that teaches girls and underrepresented minority youth how to code. When he's not hacking away at a cool side project or teaching kids how to code, you'll probably find him training for his next long distance obstacle race.

David Whitlatch is a former IT specialist and GA grad. He has been apart of the SEI/WDI instructional team since December of 2018. Prior to that, he worked with IT consulting companies to build and maintain production servers. He has also worked for Micro Center as the Brooklyn locations lead Apple technician.

Mick Roth currently works as an Instructional Assistant for Software Engineering Immersive at General Assembly's New York campus. He graduated from GA's Web Development Immersive Program in March of 2019 and also has many years as a self-taught programmer. Experience also includes four cohorts as a Teaching Assistant at GA. Makes for great debugging skills!
