Question from Estephania H.
Which one should I take first, this one or flame-working? which one is better for making beads?
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hey there Estephania! Both of those classes are for beginners and would be fine to take without any experience. Unfortunately, none of those classes will prepare you for working with beads because you will be working with borosilicate glass, rather than soft glass (traditionally used for bead-making). Hope this helps!

I've taken a few classes at Brooklyn Glass and every one of them has been great. The instructors are obviously knowledgeable and do a great job teaching and helping everyone along with the projects, while still letting the students make their pieces their own way. Glass Implosions was awesome! Learned how to do a technique I've always admired in stores. Would totally recommend this and all their other classes.
