Learn basic enameling skills while preparing for the Holiday and making fun ornaments for yourself or as a gift.
No prior experience with enameling is required. Hands-on instruction will teach the students how to prepare copper for enameling, and sift and fire the counter enamel (back) and base layers.
Students can customize and decorate their ornaments by adding additional layers of enamel or glass stringers.
Students will each complete 2 ornaments during a 3-hour workshop. Workshop will take approximately 3 hours, depending on the number of students.
All levels are welcome.
Cost is $75 plus $15 materials fee ($90 per person. Tax will be charged on materials portion).
The price includes all the basics and a kit with the amount of Copper/brass metal they need for the core project. They will need to buy all the rest. The only exception will be PMC class. They will need to buy their silver clay.
