What you'll learn in this watercolor class:

This course is designed for all levels, from beginners wishing to learn the basic techniques of watercolor painting to experienced painters looking to take their work to the next level. One-on-one instruction will be a staple of each class and other students can also learn from that individual guidance by listening and watching while they are working on their own painting. Well-timed demonstrations will be presented as needed for working in this lively medium.

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

100% refund will be issued up to seven days after the first class. After this, no refund will be issued.

MAKE-UP POLICY
Unfortunately, we do not offer makeup classes. The instructor can tell them what they missed. Most of our classes are taught atelier style. If there is a demonstration during the particular session, after the demonstration the instructor goes to each student to work with them on a one-to-one basis. During this time the instructor can work with the student who missed the previous week, talk with them and explain what to do.

I can tell the Ms. Fukushima is very knowledgeable and an amazing artist! But it doesn't necessarily translate to teaching well. I did learn some water color techniques in the class and her demonstrations were great! I felt like she spent too much time individually with other students. Often this meant a "beginner" such as myself being stuck for 30 minutes without help, not knowing how to proceed next. I'd only recommend it if you have some experience with water color & are more looking for some guidance or additional help. If you have a good understanding of color theory and know some basic water color techniques. Enough so that you can paint on your own while you wait for the teacher to make the rounds.
