Description

What you'll learn in this block printing class:

Join this class to create an image inspired by the Garden and learn the process of block printing. Draw on linoleum and soft rubber plates, carve designs, and use inks to make several prints. Connect with plants not only on-site but through art history.

Are materials provided and included in cost of the class? Yes, materials are provided for an additional fee.

Refund Policy

Notify us at [email protected] at least 7 business days before the start date of the class or trip, and we will refund your fee less $15. If you must withdraw fewer than 7 business days before the class, we will refund your fee only if your space can be filled from a waiting list. No refunds, transfers, or credits are given after the start date.

If BBG must cancel a course, you will be notified as early as possible and will receive a full refund. BBG cancels classes with insufficient registration approximately one week before the start date, so register early!

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

The teacher was great. She talked about the history of block printing and a bit of philosophy behind the images and layout. The step-by-step process left me feeling confident I could create blocks on my own with ease. I would highly recommend this class for anyone interested in block printing--or Eastern art/crafts.
