This workshop is a hands-on introduction to the possibilities of the Cyanotype process, a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print.
By the end of class, students will have learned:
Students can bring small, flat objects to class that inspire them to make photograms. Some examples would be: leaves, pressed flowers, feathers, string, wire, paper cut-outs, and other semi-transparent materials like lace or open weave fabrics.
Students can also bring their own black and white negatives. We encourage bringing medium format, (2 ¼ x 2 ¼ in.) and large format negatives, (4 x 5 in.), that are well exposed. Digital negatives are welcome as well.
All other materials will be provided for a fee of $30.00 payable in cash directly to the instructor.
Full 8 business days before class time for rescheduling. No refunds.
