What you'll learn in this embroidery class:

Peace out and learn to embroider! In this beginner workshop, you’ll master embroidery basics as you complete a cute little peace-sign hoop designed by Marigold & Mars.

This class will cover:

  • How to transfer a printed image to fabric
  • What types of fabric, embroidery floss, needles and other tools are required
  • How to do a basic outline stitch and filler stitch to complete your embroidered image
  • How to “frame” your finished piece in an embroidery hoop
You’ll leave with a finished hoop and the know-how to tackle more embroidery projects on your own! All materials needed will be provided and are included in class cost.

Refund Policy

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY

We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations.

If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a school credit if you notify us at least 48 hours before the workshop. We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 48 hours advance notice.

About Our Policy

Our workshops require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, booking staff, and making commitments to pay our instructors -- all based on the number of students who register. When students ask to cancel or reschedule at the last minute, we lose money. As a small business, we are unable to absorb these costs and still keep our class prices low.

In fairness to all of our customers we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness or travel. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!

Thank you for understanding!

The venue chosen was beautiful. We were surrounded by fabrics and materials used for embroidery. Everything was organized and neat when we arrived. Angela was lovely, she was patient and gave us really interesting trivia about the fashion industry. Everyone was relaxed and eager to learn!

Just what I wanted. A simple class with two stitches (actually 4) and a well started new project. I’d definitely recommend the course and instructor.
