Hello, there! In one session, which is a one-hour private class, you will learn the basic stitches used for sewing clothes. Question from Jordan A.
Hi! I have a pair of pants that I want to recreate. Can I bring the pants with me and learn how to make a pattern and sew a garment from them all in the hour?
Answer from Kristle C. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! Yes, you can bring. If you have a pair of pants that’s fits really well, you will make a perfect pattern and can sew many new perfect fitting pants. It also depends on how complicated the design of the pants is, a project like this takes at least two hours as the old pants that you bring will need to be cut apart so this project works best if you bring a worn out pair of pants. The school suggests to sign up for a two-hour class by choosing 2 seats. Hope that helps!
