Once you master basic cooking techniques like roasting, sautéing and steaming, you can cook perfect dishes every time. You will also master the techniques for cooking green vegetables and sautéeing potatoes, and learn to make a simple, crowd-pleasing dessert: honey-roasted pears with mascarpone.
