Yes basic and he makes many different courses. With my Italian background I still learned quite a bit that day. It was easy and I took a friend who doesn’t cook. She loved it.

Chef Paul was knowledgeable patient and the plates came out delicious. Highly recommend this class. I am a pretty good Italian home cook, I still learned several tricks that will make my home meals wonderful.

The setting was perfect with a nice open space with plenty of room to spread out at the different stations. It had a warm cozy vibe which was perfect for the prep and a nice sit down meal after we were finished. Chef Paul was very explanatory in how the class would run, taught all of us what was happening even if we weren't working at a particular station, and added tips and tricks that I could take home and apply to many different recipes. I would love to take another class here in the future.

School: Miette

Miette means, "little crumb" in French. This name was chosen while giving cooking classes at the restaurant Tartine in the West Village. Since Tartine means "slice of bread" we thought it an appropriate name for the school!
