I liked the cooking class because the chef was friendly, did a fun demo, eagerly answered questions, and the students were excited to learn new cooking techniques. It was fun making soba noodles and tofu salad. However, it was difficult to find utensils (tasting spoons, bowls, plates, etc) and you had to keep on asking for supplies. Also, if the class had been longer like a standard 3-4 hour class (starting at 6 p.m. instead of 7 p.m.), we would have probably gotten the chance to make more dishes. Overall, I liked this Pan-Asian cooking class.

The instructor, Jay Weinstein, and his assistant, were terrific. I didn't love all the recipes but of course, that's my taste. All in all it was a very good class and a lot of fun and I learned a few new kitchen tricks, always good to have.
