Description
What you'll learn in this kids robotics class:
This class is designed to teach students the basics of building and programming robots. Every student will receive a robot kit of his or her own to keep. Several robot projects will be constructed in class and in the process very introductory electronics and C++ programming will be taught.
As a final project students will be guided in the process of creating their own innovations to implement onto one of the basic robot models. Projects will be based on using the Ardunio microcontroller, a very generally applicable and popular programmable control device for home electronics and robotics.
The last day of class will be a Robot Battles Day and a "parent & family-invite day", open to everyone the students would like to show off their projects to. The Robot Battles will include 3 or 4 different competitions such as best times on a robot obstacle course and robot wrestling.

Refund Policy
A refund in full will be made if cancellation is requested prior to one week before the first class. If cancellation is requested from 1 week up to 48 hours before the first class a refund of all but $100 will be made. This policy is necessary to partially compensate for cost of materials. A refund is not possible for cancellation within 48 hours of the first class, however credit toward a future course will be given.
