ATNY TV/Film Scripts Youth Workshop w/Special TVFilm Manager Guest

The young talent waiting to blossom in New Jersey is undeniable.  So, ATNY is coming to Tenafly, special delivery, with a 2-Week TV/Film On-Camera Workshop for youth.  It’s the same training you’d receive in New York City; but, it’s a weekday workshop in your back yard.  It’s the chance to have your kids get a full understanding of proper acting technique through scene study, improvisation and Meisner Technique.

Join bi-coastal acting coach and ATNY owner, Todd Etelson, in this special youth workshop series.  Todd’s past clients can be seen in top streaming media show, such as Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu, as well as Network.  He is one of New York industry’s go to’s for coaching industry kids with top auditions for TV and Film.

Week 1:  Light improvisation, Meisner Technique and delivery of scripts.  We’ll cover character analysis and scene fundamentals, as well as naturalism and realism.  You’ll learn where to focus, and how to get out of your head.  The way you think it should go isn’t the way it will go.  Trust your instincts.  Actors will go on camera.

Week 2: All scripts should be memorized.  Actors will learn proper audition technique, and prep for parents and our special youth talent manager, to be named shortly.   Parents are welcomed to come in for a Q/A and watch final scenes on camera at 5:30pm – 6pm.  We will continue to focus on being specific with objective, finding conflict, and losing control of the scene.  Our youth manager will give comments and keep their eyes on your kids.

We will limit the size of the class to 12.  Should there be stronger demand, we’ll lengthen the workshop a bit more each day, to ensure quality.
