What you'll learn in this kids gardening class:

The Children’s Garden sponsored by HSBC Bank is offering a fun and exciting virtual experience this Summer! Learn more about environmental themes such as cooking with plants, meeting our animal neighbors, using our natural world as inspiration to create art, and much more! Each session will be taught by our dedicated and experienced staff who are excited to begin this online adventure with everyone.

Based on lessons, materials and interactive 'Camp Boxes' will be safely packaged & sent to participating families.

Each session incorporates the Garden as a resource to support nature discovery, hands-on activities, thematic activities, art, and science investigations.

Children's Garden takes place Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 10:30 a.m. for ages 4-7 and from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm for ages 8-12!

Session I: The Garden Lab, July 6 through 16

Session II: Urban Critters, July 20 through July 30

Session III: The Kitchen & Beyond: All About Plants and Their Uses, August 3 through 13

Session IVArt in the Garden, August 17 through 27

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
