President's Day Workshop

While children are off from school, this workshop will equip them with the necessary skills to communicate effectively with family, friends, and adults.

The morning workshop will focus on teaching children to be their best selves every day- from interacting with others, to being mindful of their own behavior and actions, children will leave the workshop feeling empowered and self- aware. The afternoon will feature a two-hour dining intensive for beginner/ intermediate students.

Monday Workshop
"Be Your Best YOU” 
We make first impressions every single day throughoutour lives, yet most of us never learn how to make the first impression we wantto make.  During this workshop we learn howto do so (while being authentic to our true selves) in a fun, interactivesetting!  Your child will learn about: body language,facial gestures, shaking hands, eye contact, introductions, basics of conversational skills,grooming, and being your best self every day.

Learn and practice dinner conversation, diningsklz, setting the table, making a toast.
 
Included pizza lunch and games. 

Tuesday Workshop

Children will learn and practice age-appropriate elements of communication and interaction, including starting, maintaining, and closing conversations, identifying and expressing emotions, eliminating the "one word answer," and more.  

friendshipsklz:-) 
Children will learn age-appropriate strategies for making friends, being a good friend, managing bullies, and ending a friendship if necessary.

Included lunch and games.  

Note: Children will be grouped as kidz (ages 4-7) and tweenz (ages 8-12).  ​
