Introduction to Robotics

Did you ever want to build a robot or wonder how they work? Well now you can through this 6-week introduction to Robotics workshop! Children will learn about robots and robot concepts. A robot consists of 2 main parts. Hardware and Software. 

In this workshop, students will be exploring the hardware side by building their own light sensing, maze exploring robot. Students will learn about electronic circuits, soldering, electronic component identification and functions (resistors, capacitors, transistors, microchips, etc..), electronic schematic reading, gears, gear ratios, and other electronic concepts/skills. 

Each child not only will keep the robot they have just built, but will also keep the tools used to build the robot so they can take what they have learned and continue their interest afterwards.
