We have a playbook right in front of us, in the experiments to build civic engagement and revive democracy taking place in New York City. Join senior leaders from New York’s democracy reform and civil society community in dialogue with Hollie Russon Gilman and Sabeel Rahman; authors of the new book Civic Power: Rebuilding American Democracy in an Era of Democratic Crisis as they discuss how to participate in tangible local engagement to lead to larger impact for enhancing democracy.

In the event that some or all of the meetings of the program cannot happen in person, programs will be held at the scheduled time in a virtual format via a video conferencing platform. The programs will continue through hands-on, at-home activities, lectures, presentations, and/or group discussions. No refunds will be issued should any portion of a course be held virtually.
We are not responsible for providing makeup classes or issuing refunds for programs missed as a result of illness, emergencies or other events beyond our control.
There are no refunds for outings, classes or workshops that meet fewer than three times per semester.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
