This introductory acting class works for those who are brand new to acting, as well as more seasoned actors who want to brush up on the basics. Utilizing classic acting techniques, improvisation, scene study, and character work, we'll explore the depth of characters, being in the moment on stage, and how to live truthfully under the given circumstances of a scene.
What to gain: Basic terminology of stage and film; how to connect with your character; how to better understand a script; how to be in the moment on stage, or on camera; how to see yourself as more than a professional actor, but also a brand; how to be more courageous, be a better listener, a stronger team player, and a vehicle of ideas, inspiration, and creativity.
