Description
What you'll learn in this comedy class:
Great for beginners or those wishing to fine tune their material. Develop a five minute set that's strong from start to finish. Practice joke writing, setup and punch, crowd work and more. Begin the journey of finding your voice and developing a point of view as well as performance, mic and stage techniques,
- Navigate basic joke structures and writing techniques.
- Creating context. Moving your natural humor with friends on to the stage.
- Understanding circumstance. Learning how to raise the stakes to make a joke funnier.
- Reading the room, learn how to address an audience and the elephant in the room.
- Learn how to find the funny from your personal life, and make it relatable.
Includes:
- 5 stand up comedy classes
- 5 complimentary live or virtual open mics
- Class showcase at comedy club
- Professional Video of your set from the class showcase
