Using introductory principles and exercises, participants will learn and apply Stand-Up, Joke Writing and Storytelling techniques.
Creativity thrives in supportive endeavors. We can help you leave any stage fright at the Zoom door.
You will leave this course with an enhanced understanding of, ‘What is funny,’ how brainstorming can lead to comedic material and how to present that material. “You know, a funny thing happened to me on my way to my comedy class...”
Your Host, Shawn, is experienced in creating and hosting a safe environment for all to participate. Like our shoes, support is where it’s at, as long as it’s funny.
Comedy always needs a reboot and the world could use some laughs. Bring what you got and elevate it to comedic heights. Laugh and learn, show and tell.

All Experience Levels Welcome.
Classes culminate in a Comedic Recital for invited guests.

Students of the Stand-Up 101: Comedy for Beginners class highly praise their instructor, Shawn, for his supportive teaching methods and the personal development gained during his class.
