This is an in-person class. All students must submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon enrollment in order to participate.
Masks must be worn entering and exiting the building, but will be optional once inside the classroom.
First time taking an improv class? You’re in the right place.
This class will introduce new improvisers to the value of saying “Yes, And” to every idea - especially their own - to become joyful, fearless, and bold performers. Through games and exercises, this class will teach students the essentials of successful scenic improvisation -- to react emotionally and honestly, to trust your gut, to support scene partners and embrace taking risks.
Whether you want to be a performer or just try out an improv class and meet new people, this class will boost your confidence and creativity in a safe, supportive environment at Brooklyn’s top comedy theater and school.
Class Show: TBD after final class at live venue.
Class payments are non-refundable.
In the event you have to drop a class before it begins and give us at least 8 business days notice, we can credit your tuition toward a future class.
In the event a class fails to meet a minimum number of sign-ups (6 enrollments), students will be notified by email and given the option to transfer into another class, keep a class credit on the books, or offered a full refund - whichever is preferable to the student.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
