This class builds on the skills in Level 2 of fearless playing, strong/specific choices, and ability to attack the stage as fearless artist. Now, we will challenge ourselves with advanced improv techniques, such as how to find the "edge" in every scene (and take it from good to great), exploring the role of the individual role in an ensemble, living in the moment-to-moment instead of plotting ahead, authentically acting and grounding your characters, and diving into the dynamics that make up three-person and group scenes. Students will learn how to be versatile ensemble players who listen and support group mind to build pieces organically with the larger show in mind.
Prerequisite: BCC Level 2 Improv “Free Your Mind.”
Class Show: TBD on Zoom/BCC Insta Live
Class payments are non-refundable.
In the event you have to drop a class before it begins and give us at least 8 business days notice, we can credit your tuition toward a future class.
