Thu, Apr 08, 2:00pm - 4:00pm Eastern Time
In this workshop, Photo Stylist and Set Designer, Robin Del Pino will discuss what it's like to work on a PhotoShoot. Students will learn how a Professional Photo Stylist prepares an interior for a photoshoot, what props to bring, what objects to remove or rearrange, how color and light impacts an image, etc. A variety of published interiors will be presented and analyzed.
This lecture and slideshow (documenting Robin's published interiors), will illustrate, how to discern what works when an interior is to be photographed and what to avoid. Props, textiles and placement of furnishings will be discussed, with an emphasis on understanding camera angle, ambient light, color and composition. By reviewing and studying images from these published interior photoshoots, students will be able to apply these principles to their own work, creating dynamic results.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
