What you'll learn in this finance training:

The AFP Treasury Learning System™ is a professional development program and a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) exam preparation course. The course is written by experts on corporate cash management and based on the 2014 Certified Treasury Professional body of knowledge that reflects the current responsibilities of treasury professionals. The CTP designation is the only professional credential in cash management.

This program is offered in partnership with the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP). It is a blended format of printed workbooks and web-based learning software based on the complete text of Essentials of Treasury Management, 4th edition – the official body of knowledge tested on the CTP exam. This 4.0 learning system includes printed books, online software access, a participant guide, and access to download an ebook version.

This class includes five modules:
  • Introduction to Treasury Management
  • Treasury Management Environment
  • Working Capital Management
  • Risk Management
  • Financial Management
Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement in Treasury Management from AFP and earn 3.6 CEU credits.

A Smart Investment: If you do not pass your certification exam, you may attend our class during the following semester for only a $225 re-registration fee, provided you still have the necessary materials.

The CTP exam, made up of 170 questions, is based on the concepts and experiences basic to cash/treasury management. For eligibility requirements and registration information, go to the AFP Web site.

AFP has set up a guide to find strategies and test taking tips to help you prepare for the CTP exam. Sample questions, with answer keys, are included in the preparation guide.

Why should you earn the CTP credential?
  • Higher salaries: Earn up to 16% more than your non-certified peers.
  • Increased job security: Validate your competency in liquidity, capital, and risk management functions.
  • Greater career flexibility: Prepare for greater on-the-job responsibilities.
