What you'll learn in this computer basics training:

This course is designed for mature adults, 55 or older, who want to learn about computers. Through patient hands-on instruction, the following topics will be covered: understanding the hardware component, the operating system, mouse clicking, using the web and sending and receiving email. This is the perfect course for new entrants to the age of computers. Must be familiar with the keyboard.

Course Requirements:

  • Course materials provided.
  • Bring a flash drive to save work and a notebook.

Refund Policy
All applications for refunds must be made in writing. 

Registration fees are non-refundable unless the Continuing & Professional Education has canceled a course. 

Refunds are calculated from the date we receive your written request. One week before the first class meeting, the refund is 100% of tuition; before the second class meeting the refund is 75% of tuition. Thereafter, no refunds will be granted for any reason. 

Registration, application and material fees are non-refundable. There are no refunds on one-day or two-day courses once they have begun. Non-attendance of classes does not exclude the student from the rules of this policy.
