You think Manhattan and you conjure up images of the huge skyscrapers, the statue of Liberty, or the bright lights of Times Squares. Brooklyn? And there’s Coney Island and the Promenade. How about them Yankees for the Bronx? And even Staten Island gets a ferry. But Queens? What can we say about Queens?
Some would say the Mets. Others would say Tennis. Most would say “its that place with the airports”. But we at Queens Food Tours say FOOD! And not just those bizarre and exotic eats that the Travel Channel would have you believe, but the type of cuisines that comes right out of your grandmothers kitchen. Because that’s what Queens is—its authentic, its homey, its amazingly delicious.
This is what inspired us to start our company. Our passion for food combined with our love for Queens. Because we believe its not enough to simply see Queens, one must immerse through its sights and bites. Sure, a lot of people think we’re nuts to start a tour company in Queens of all places, but we like to do something different–and Queens IS different. So the next time you land in Queens either through JFK or Laguardia. Stick around. Take our food tour. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised (and full). We hope to see you soon.

Everything was great, even in the rain!
We had a great time. The food options were amazing. Even though I grew up in the neighborhood I learned so much about the area. I would highly recommend taking this tour.
The food options were amazing. Everything was so delicious. I grew up in the area and still learned a lot about my own neighborhood. I loved this tour.
Great tour! Those almond croissants though. We were lucky to get it out right out of the oven. One of the best I've had since France.
Took this tour to celebrate a birthday with my family and couldn't have been happier. We were joined by a group of 10 from all over the map. The almond croissant was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Would recommend the tour just for that. A bit surprised by the first reviewer since the class description stated 5 tastings and not 5 restaurants. We thought it was very well balanced having 3 savory and 2 sweet tastings. Guess some people are just never pleased.
The Flavors of Long Island City surpassed our expectations. We don't venture out to Queens often and so this was a great and delicious way to get to know what the other side of New York offers. We loved the variety of the food. We had 5 tastings from 4 places. We all left pretty full and happy. Definitely a great way to spend the afternoon.
The food tasted yummy, but there wasn't much of it. Also, the class description indicated we would be visiting 5 locations and we only stopped at four. Our guide was friendly, but overall the tour was not well thought out in regards to "flow". We started with a burger, then had chocolate chip cookies, then pizza, then croissants. Not what I was expecting..
