Amy Greenhouse

Amy Greenhouse is a New York City public school teacher with over a decade of experience. She is dedicated to shaping her students into lifelong learners who have the skills and curiosity to read and write outside the classroom. She has a Masters in Learning, Design and Technology from Stanford University and a Master of Science Degree in Education from Queens College. Amy's students inspired her to write two middle grade novels: Rat Trap! tells the story of 7th graders from Hollis, Queens, as they take on our city’s rodents. In A Brooklyn Tail, Hurricane Sandy washes a mermaid baby onto Coney Island’s shores. She lives with her toddler son and husband in lower Manhattan.
