Calvert Crary is the Executive Director of FlowerSchool New York and co-owner of Ariella New York in New York, NY and Opalia Flowers in Brooklyn, NY. Previously an award winning photographer, Calvert made the transition to floral entrepreneur and trained many students to open shops and reorganize existing floral businesses.

Instructor was very knowledgeable: a professional florist with 20+ years experience, and it showed. Studio owner likewise. Beautiful array of flowers were prepared for students: a demonstration with running commentary and q&a, followed by our own designs. Learned a lot, recommend it!
