Dan Gheno

Teaches at National Academy School of Fine Arts

Gheno lives in New York and teaches at the National Academy as well as the Art Students League. He is a Professor Emeritus at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Old Lyme, CT where he taught for 18 years. He studied at the Santa Barbara Art Institute, The Art Students League, and the National Academy School of Fine Arts. Gheno has exhibited at the Butler Art Institute, Youngstown, OH; Westmont College, Santa Barbara, CA; the University of Hartford Art Gallery, CT; the Limbo Gallery and Caro Gallery in New York; the National Arts Club; the Pastel Society of America Annuals; the Allied Artists of America Annuals; and in the “Artists Paint New York” at the Museum of the City of New York exhibition in 1995.
