Do Brooks, a member of the art department at the Dalton School, was educated at Cooper Union School of Art and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has participated in exhibitions at the Walters Art Gallery, Baltimore, MD; the Eubie Blake Museum,Baltimore, MD; the Edith Lambert Gallery, Santa Fe, NM; the Institute of Contemporary Art, PS1, NY; and the Wendell Street Gallery, NY. Do Brooks has taught young people pastel, drawing and painting for many years at the Dalton School, the National Academy School of Fine Arts, and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, MA. Her work can be found in the collections of the Bronx Museum of Art, the Eubie Blake Museum, the Asian American Arts Center, the Buangshou Academy of Fine Arts in China, and the American Samoan Museum.
