Masako Gibeault began studying Ikebana from the age of 18 at Ryusei-ha School of Ikebana and has been considered a Master of The Third Grade Head Course Free Style since she was 24. She actively participated in many Ikebana exhibits in Japan prior to relocating to Vermont to teach this art form at Green Mountain College. She has since held many workshops and exhibitions to communities in Vermont and beyond, including The Metropolitan Museum, Tenri Gallery, and Ikebana International Flower Shows. Now living in NYC, Gibeault serves as a board member of Ikebana International New York Chapter and has Ikebana Class in Rosobox Gallery in Queens, New York.
