Paul began photographing surfing in Hawaii at age seventeen. His love of photography and adventure led him to New York City, Oahu and Sweden as he pursued competitive kiteboarding and portrait, event and celebrity photography. Paul's work has been published in various print and online publication including Harpers Bazaar, BBC America, NY Magazine and The Kiteboarder Magazine.
