Carlos started performing at a young age. In 1998 he was part of a prime time TV series in Portugal, his home country, and had several appearances in the film industry. Looking to achieve a dance qualification he moved to the U.K. in 2004. During this time Carlos also pursued a BA and Masters Degree in International Journalism at Cardiff University. Since 2004 he focused on training dance styles such as Hip Hop, Locking and House Dance in America, UK and Scandinavia learning of choreographers from all over the globe. After moving to London in 2009 it didn’t take long for Carlos to start making a name for him self in the choreography industry. He has choreographed for Warner Brothers, Britain’s Got Talent, George Sampson, Goldie Looking Chain, Trevor Nelson, Russian celebrity Sergey Lazarev, Circolombia’s Broadway and London appearances, The Fringe in NY, Ivyrise, ITV’s Got To Dance and adverts for brands such as Samsung and L’Oreal to name a few. This made him one of the fastest growing choreographers in the U.K. As a dancer, Carlos was one of the performers in the first cast of the Dutch show BLAZE that toured around the world. He was also cast in the role of ‘Sudsy’ in the recent Zoonation west end hit show "Some like it Hip Hop". To add to that Carlos also danced for London based companies such as Avant Garde, Dance 2xs and Sophistafunk. He has taught around the world, from New York to Russia and intensively in Europe. This includes guest faculty at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and a regular teacher at renown London Pineapple Dance Studios. Carlos was also appointed the Creative Director for the World Of Dance UK in 2011, one of the biggest dance competitions in the world. Currently, Carlos is working between New York City and London both as a choreographer and actor.
