After some time spent in food writing for StarChefs.com (and receiving a nomination for a James Beard media award) he spent two years at the well-loved Gramercy Tavern in Manhattan. He now works at Fort Defiance in charming Red Hook, Brooklyn and operates In Season NYC, a Greenmarket catering company.
